Here is my entry for this week’s I Heart Faces photo challenge.  When I saw the theme was Hugs and Kisses I immediately thought of this image.  I took this last summer and I LOVE the moment captured between this new baby girl and her mother.  Melts my heart every time I look at it.  I wish I had a photo like this of me and my children…

Winnipeg has been blanketed in fog since Tuesday evening.  I felt like I was in a Stephen King novel.  It was a little eerie barely being able to see your neighbours house across the street.  But, as eerie as it was, it was also beautiful.  Everything was covered in hoar frost and I knew I needed to get out and take some photos.  After not having the chance on Wednesday or Thursday, I was happy to wake up this morning and see that the fog was still here!  I bundled up and ventured around the corner to the lake by our house.  I wasn’t disappointed.
