Family session {Winnipeg family photographer}

I met this family last month one morning at a little park close to their home that they frequent.  I always like it when clients make suggestions for location, especially when it holds some meaning for them.  I hope when their children are older and no longer going to the park to play on the playstructure and swing with Mom and Dad, that seeing this images will bring back a flood of good memories to this special, busy time when the kids are young.  Always so nice to see this family every year and when I see how big J is I can’t believe that he was my very first newborn that I photographed 6 years ago!

One year and a family {Winnipeg family photographer}

I have photographed this family so many times I think I have lost count!  I met them a few years ago as they were expecting their first child and I’ve been there to document her milestones and then the next addition to the family and her milestones.  I consider it a great honour that they keep coming back.  I love watching all my families grow and watching the children change through the years.  We met at Assiniboine Park for a morning session at the English Garden and then came back to the studio for a cake smash later in the day.  Little Miss M was all smiles until she was presented with the beautiful cake decorated lovingly by her Dad.  I love watching all my one year olds during their cake smashes, and I especially love when they tell us they are done!

Family photo session {Winnipeg family photographer}

I have photographed this family a few times over the years and it was so nice to see them again for updated photos of the family and their son who turned one.  I had photographed him as a newborn and his big sister a couple of times.  We met at Crescent Drive park and braved the mosquitoes and played in the park on a beautiful Summer evening.

I met this family a couple of months ago at Assiniboine Park to capture their family of three as they were expecting another child.  It was nice to hear that their daughter had arrived safely and she was a doll to photograph.  I love the colour palette they chose for their images.

I met up with this family out in St. Norbert last week to do their family portraits.  This is the third year I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them and I always love seeing them and seeing how much the kids have grown and changed through the year.  It was the perfect evening for a photo shoot (minus all the mosquitoes of course).

Family photo session {Winnipeg family photographer}

I love seeing this family and it’s been such an honour and pleasure to have taken their photos so many times.  It’s so special to be a part of all the big moments in a couples lives and capture memories for them to cherish for years to come.  We spent a lovely evening in the park a couple of weeks ago to celebrate their daughter turning three and their son who is turning one.  Looking forward to seeing them one more time for a cake smash later this week.

One year session {Winnipeg child photographer}

This sweet little girl is about to turn one and Mom and Dad wanted to celebrate this big milestone with a photo session.  It was so nice to get to meet them all and have the opportunity to capture this special time in their lives.  Mom came armed with a suitcase of clothes for D and she was such a doll to photograph.  You can just tell that she is the apple of their eye.

13 days new {Winnipeg newborn photographer}

I met this couple a couple of months ago to capture a maternity session as they awaited the birth of their first son.  It was nice to hear he arrived safe and sound and it was great to photograph him at 13 days of age.  He did such a great job and posed so well and slept well.  He barely made a peep.  You can tell he is absolutely adored by his parents.  I love this look – I had to post one since it was a recurring look that made us laugh quite a bit.
