one month new {Winnipeg newborn photographer}

I finally got to see this little man when he was one month old.  He chose to arrive earlier than expected and after spending a little time growing stronger it was nice to finally see this family again and meet their new addition.  I had the pleasure of photographing their first son as a newborn and it’s always nice to have clients return with their next child.

I love having the opportunity to photograph these girls every year.  They are so natural and comfortable in front of the camera and so much fun to try out new locations and poses with.  I love this new spot and how great this session turned out.

Here’s another family I’ve watched grow and change over the years from expecting their first son and sessions all the way up to the milestone of capturing their second son as he turns one.  These two little guys are so sweet — it’s always nice to see them.

This little guy is just about to turn one year of age and the family received a gift certificate to use towards a family photo session.  We met on a beautiful Fall afternoon at Assiniboine Park.  This little guy was pretty serious this particular day and really made us all work hard for those smiles :)

I met up with this family for a session at the Ruins in St. Norbert last month.  It’s been so nice to be able to photograph their family as the kids grow and change.  Their daughter was right in to her session and pulling out the poses – their son – was your typical 2 year old boy – running and running and running.  :)

Family Session {Winnipeg Family Photographer}

Last month I met up with this family that just happens to not only be good friends but neighbours on my street.  It was so nice to have them ask me to capture their family photos this year.  I’ve watched these kids grow up along side my girls and I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone.  We met one gorgeous afternoon in the Exchange district and had a nice time walking around and taking photos.  Love how this session turned out.  I love the Exchange for families with older kids — there are so many great spots to use.

Family Session {Winnipeg family photographer}

Last year this family contacted me to do their photos but unfortunately I was completely booked up and couldn’t fit them in for a Fall session.  Luckily this year I still had a spot and we decided to meet at the Trappist Monastery Ruins in St. Norbert one evening.  They had never been there and we had a nice time exploring and checking out all the great photo op spots on the grounds.  I LOVE how their session turned out.

I met this family last month one morning at a little park close to their home that they frequent.  I always like it when clients make suggestions for location, especially when it holds some meaning for them.  I hope when their children are older and no longer going to the park to play on the playstructure and swing with Mom and Dad, that seeing this images will bring back a flood of good memories to this special, busy time when the kids are young.  Always so nice to see this family every year and when I see how big J is I can’t believe that he was my very first newborn that I photographed 6 years ago!
