Family photo session {Winnipeg family photographer}

I love having the opportunity to photograph these girls every year.  They are so natural and comfortable in front of the camera and so much fun to try out new locations and poses with.  I love this new spot and how great this session turned out.

Here’s another family I’ve watched grow and change over the years from expecting their first son and sessions all the way up to the milestone of capturing their second son as he turns one.  These two little guys are so sweet — it’s always nice to see them.

I met up with this family for a session at the Ruins in St. Norbert last month.  It’s been so nice to be able to photograph their family as the kids grow and change.  Their daughter was right in to her session and pulling out the poses – their son – was your typical 2 year old boy – running and running and running.  :)

I had the pleasure of photographing this couple as they were expecting this little man.  It was nice to see them again and meet the person behind that bump who is now 2 years old!

Family Session {Winnipeg Family Photographer}

Last month I met up with this family that just happens to not only be good friends but neighbours on my street.  It was so nice to have them ask me to capture their family photos this year.  I’ve watched these kids grow up along side my girls and I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone.  We met one gorgeous afternoon in the Exchange district and had a nice time walking around and taking photos.  Love how this session turned out.  I love the Exchange for families with older kids — there are so many great spots to use.

The English Garden at Assiniboine Park was the backdrop for this gorgeous family photo session.  I have loved photographing this family ever year and catching up on what’s been going on their lives.  Their children are all so well behaved and engaging and always a pleasure to photograph.  The colour palette looks lovely with the beautiful colours in the garden this time of year.   And every year the kids look forward to their silly face picture that I take — from what Mom tells me I think they practice all year long and they seem to really love it when I tell them it’s time for “that” picture.  I love to try and make it fun for the kids and capture the silliness that is kids at this age :)

Family Session {Winnipeg family photographer}

Last year this family contacted me to do their photos but unfortunately I was completely booked up and couldn’t fit them in for a Fall session.  Luckily this year I still had a spot and we decided to meet at the Trappist Monastery Ruins in St. Norbert one evening.  They had never been there and we had a nice time exploring and checking out all the great photo op spots on the grounds.  I LOVE how their session turned out.

I have photographed this family a few times over the years and it was so nice to see them again for updated photos of the family and their son who turned one.  I had photographed him as a newborn and his big sister a couple of times.  We met at Crescent Drive park and braved the mosquitoes and played in the park on a beautiful Summer evening.
