Family session {Winnipeg family photographer}

It was so nice to meet up with this family at Assiniboine Park for a family session.  I photographed them a few years ago and it’s always nice to update the images on their wall.  We are friends and neighbours and it’s been amazing to watch all the kids grow up over the years.

Family Session {Winnipeg family photographer}

I met this family downtown in the Exchange District for a family photo session.  This was a surprise birthday present from a thoughtful husband and we had a great time wandering around.  They took me to a neat wall mural to do a family photo – I love when clients like to include things that have special meaning to them.

Someone is ONE {Winnipeg child photographer}

I love seeing this family every year and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them through their pregnancies and milestones starting with the birth of their first daughter.  I’m always excited to see them and have the opportunity to watch their girls growing up before my lens.

Arnel family fun {Winnipeg family photographer}

I met this family at Kildonan Park last week one windy, cool evening.  We had fun exploring different locations with the boys and letting them run off some energy.  Mr N was not too interested in having his pictures taken — he was excited to be out at the park running around so we took some time for him to run and climb rocks and throw leaves.  I love how the session turned out – such cute kids.

Extended family session {Winnipeg Family Photographer}

Last weekend I had the pleasure of doing family photos for a friend and neighbour and her family.  We decided on the Ruins in St. Norbert and it was a beautiful evening for a photo session.  The weather was amazing and this family was so much fun to hang out with.  Thank you for trusting me to capture your family this year!

Celebrating 25 years {Winnipeg family photographer}

I was contacted by these two daughters quite a few months ago about purchasing a gift certificate for their parents to celebrate their 25th Wedding anniversary.  It was so nice to meet them all this past weekend down in the exchange district one beautiful morning.  I loved getting the chance to get downtown to use some of the old buildings and fun places to do sessions with families that have older children.  They were so easy going and fun to pose and the family was up to try anything.  They made my job VERY easy!

Family Session in St. Norbert {Winnipeg family photographer}

So glad I had the opportunity to photograph this family.  They live on our street and lead a very active life with 3 boys playing hockey it is not easy to schedule a photo session.  We snuck this one in quickly before the season swung in to full gear and luckily the weather was great the morning of the session.  We decided on the ruins in St. Norbert and the boys loved it since they had never been out there.  I’ve never seen boys climb so high, so fast.  I had a few heart stopping moments but Mom and Dad took it all in stride saying this is what they’ve done since they could walk!  I think they enjoyed exploring and getting the chance to climb on everything that they could.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek in to the session — I love how it turned out.

2 year family session {Winnipeg family photographer}

Little Miss Ava is not so little anymore!  I met her 2 years ago for her newborn session and have had the pleasure of watching her grow up in to the sweet 2 year old she is today.  We met at a local park and battled the mosquitoes that were out this early morning.  After that we did a few shots in the studio with a sweet little outfit to show off that she is 2.  She was a little shy but as soon as the balloon game came out she wouldn’t stop smiling and giggling.  Loved our session – can’t think of a better way to start my day than with all the giggles :)
