Family photo session {Winnipeg family photographer}

The English Garden at Assiniboine Park was the backdrop for this gorgeous family photo session.  I have loved photographing this family ever year and catching up on what’s been going on their lives.  Their children are all so well behaved and engaging and always a pleasure to photograph.  The colour palette looks lovely with the beautiful colours in the garden this time of year.   And every year the kids look forward to their silly face picture that I take — from what Mom tells me I think they practice all year long and they seem to really love it when I tell them it’s time for “that” picture.  I love to try and make it fun for the kids and capture the silliness that is kids at this age :)

Family Session {Winnipeg family photographer}

Last year this family contacted me to do their photos but unfortunately I was completely booked up and couldn’t fit them in for a Fall session.  Luckily this year I still had a spot and we decided to meet at the Trappist Monastery Ruins in St. Norbert one evening.  They had never been there and we had a nice time exploring and checking out all the great photo op spots on the grounds.  I LOVE how their session turned out.

I have photographed this family a few times over the years and it was so nice to see them again for updated photos of the family and their son who turned one.  I had photographed him as a newborn and his big sister a couple of times.  We met at Crescent Drive park and braved the mosquitoes and played in the park on a beautiful Summer evening.

It’s always so nice to see this family every year as they update their family photos.  I consider it an honour to be contacted every year with so many of my families and I love watching them go from expecting their first child all the way to adding 2 or 3 children to their lives.  We met at a local park and then back to my home studio for a cake smash to celebrate as their little guy turns one.

I photographed these twins when they were newborns and it’s always so nice to update their family photos every year.  I love watching all the children I photograph grow and change over the years from little tiny newborns to funny little kids :)

I met up with this family out in St. Norbert last week to do their family portraits.  This is the third year I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them and I always love seeing them and seeing how much the kids have grown and changed through the year.  It was the perfect evening for a photo shoot (minus all the mosquitoes of course).

I love seeing this family and it’s been such an honour and pleasure to have taken their photos so many times.  It’s so special to be a part of all the big moments in a couples lives and capture memories for them to cherish for years to come.  We spent a lovely evening in the park a couple of weeks ago to celebrate their daughter turning three and their son who is turning one.  Looking forward to seeing them one more time for a cake smash later this week.

Family session {Winnipeg family photographer}

I met up with this family at Assiniboine Park a couple of weekends ago.  It’s been lovely to watch their daughter change every year and I feel honoured that I got to photograph her as a newborn and each year around her birthday.  It’s hard to believe she is already three years old.  Mom said she wasn’t really sure how it would go since Miss E wasn’t really in the mood to have her photos done, but after meeting up at the park, she quickly forgot and seemed to have a great time posing on her own and with mom and dad.
